Our client base ranges from small businesses with as few as five users, right through to medium sized organisations with 500+ users. Our agreements and solutions are completely customisable – we make sure each is tailored to suit specific business requirements; after all, there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to business tech.

Our history is like most great start-up stories...

1995

Known then as John Hood Electronic Services, we were founded in the family garage of our director’s home, as a general computer repair service.

2002

We rebranded to Coffs Coast Computers, moved to our first official office in Mildura Street, Coffs Harbour, and concentrated more on servicing consumers and small businesses.

2008

We transitioned from break-fix to Managed ICT Services, ceasing consumer work to focus SMBs.

2010

We acquired Coffs Harbour company Biztech, and on-boarded forty new clients & three staff.

2010

We rebranded to C3 Group, to suit our expanding business, and change in focus to more than just computers.

2012

We were awarded Kaseya’s Australasian ‘Managed Services Provider (MSP) of the Year‘.

2013

We built out our Private Cloud in a tier 4 Data Centre and started working with larger sized organisations.

2016

We attained Microsoft Gold Partner status, StorageCraft Gold Partner status, and WatchGuard Gold Partner status.

2017

We were awarded Kaseya’s Australasian ‘Innovation Partner of the Year‘ award.

2018

We launched our Business Telephony product (Enterprise SIP with fully featured Cloud Hosted PBX).

We gained 3CX Gold Partner status, and StorageCraft Elite Partner status.

We acquired Port Macquarie company Baker IT, and on-boarded a dozen new clients & two staff, opening a second office on the Mid Nort Coast of NSW.

We launched our Mobile Telephony product (Telstra wholesale) and C3 Marketplace for client self-procurement.

We were awarded ConnectWise’s ConnectIT Asia-Pacific Techie Award ‘The Community Award’, for our contributions to the IT community.

We achieved 25 Years in Business! (from one man in his garage to 30+ Staff with two offices in Eastern Australia).

We acquired Brisbane based company BMC Computers, and on-boarded a dozen new clients & existing staff, extending our on-site presence in South-East Queensland.

We achieved Acronis Platinum Partner status, showing our commitment to sales/technical training and vendor performance.

We launched our new C3 Client Portal feature for client Self-Service Support. C3 clients can leverage our advanced AI automations to self-manage common tasks such as user on-boardings and off-boardings, resetting passwords, changing calendar & mailbox permissions and modifying distribution groups.

We celebrated the company founder’s retirement, and started a new era with the sale of C3 Group to Brian and Daniel, two MSP industry veterans with a combined 50+ years’ experience!

In front of a global audience, we were awarded the Pax8 APAC MVP Continuity award at Beyond24 in Denver, USA! This award is in recognition of the solutions we implement to provide our clients with Business Continuity for On-premises, Hybrid Cloud and Cloud only ICT environments.
