THE ROLES

We have multiple roles which cover support levels 1, 2 and 3 within our service desk covering different levels of experience and capability.

You will provide essential ICT support to our large base of clients. The roles provide a great mix of working from the office and working from home if that’s your thing, however the ability to attend client sites in the Coffs Coast and Port Macquarie regions is essential.

Your key responsibilities will be: 

  • Respond to incoming requests with a high level of customer service, efficiently and promptly.
  • See service desk requests through to completion, drawing on your experience to problem solve issues to our client’s satisfaction.
  • Assist senior engineers to identify root cause and resolution of more complex issues.
  • Complete hardware requests and problem solving both in our workshop and on-site.
  • Continually grow your capabilities through the completion of certifications and learning on the job.
  • Assist with the delivery of client projects in line with your technical capabilities.
  • Work effectively as part of a team which encompasses Level 1, 2 and 3 technicians, sharing your knowledge and experiences with others.

What you will bring:

  • Experience with a Managed Service Provider company where you demonstrated a strong focus on providing superior customer service.
  • Experience working hands-on with IT systems including Endpoints, Servers, Networking, Security and Telecommunications.
  • Support experience with Microsoft Windows desktop & server operating systems, 365 and other cloud-based technologies.
  • A strong desire to develop technical knowledge & skills within a range of constantly changing technologies.
  • For Level 2 & 3 technicians, the following certifications will be viewed favourably:
    • Network Certification (CompTIA Network+ and/or CCNA)
    • Microsoft Associate Certification x2 (365 OR Azure)

We will be accepting applicants with no previous IT industry experience for consideration as a Level 1 Technician. A Cert III in IT is highly desirable in this circumstance and please use your cover letter to demonstrate your strong interest in IT and desire to make it your career.
